3 POWER Secrets on How to STOP Losing Prospects Continually.

He was a newbie in Network Marketing and was struggling daily.
He reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked me if we could talk as
he wanted to set up a one time coaching session.
I said Yes, and met over Skype a couple of days later. He was from
England.
He had found me on social media and thought I might be able to help him.
We chatted a couple of days later (with his sponsor as well) and found
out that he was really having issues with losing prospects, which I have
always thought many people struggle with.
He had 3 problems:
1. His FOCUS.
2. His LANGUAGE.
3. His EMOTIONS.
Let's take a look at all 3 of these.
a. His Focus was on himself, and it showed. As he proceeded to through the
process he was taught, he was focused on and selling himself the whole
time and not the prospect.
I told him to focus on what the prospect was seeking and looking for not
what he was looking for from the prospect. I told him to ask this very
simple question:
"What one thing are you really truly wanting to improve in your life?"
And then start the conversation from there.
or ask, "What is your greatest concern about where your life is headed?"
or, "What one thing you have not achieved yet - you would love to?'
b. His Language was typical and manipulative and it felt like he was
after something, not offering something.
I told him to stop looking to GET something from the prospect but instead
looking to GIVE something to the prospect.
Like Hope. New Destiny. Solutions. Answers. And a path to MORE out of life.
c. His Emotions were of Fear as he came across like he was intimidated and
insecure.
I told him to quit recruiting. Quit trying to sell something. Quit trying to
get the prospect to DO something. On social media and offline it can turn
people off quickly.
Just do 2 things
1. CONNECT.
2. HOLD a Conversation about the prospect.
Just like you do every day. Hold a Conversation and make it about the
prospect. Be friendly and focus on HELPING them if at all possible.
That's it. START a conversation online or offline and then ask some questions.
For example:
Find out what they want to either Change, Increase, or Improve in their life.
Find out if they have ever considered a Financial Safety Net and why not.
Ask them what their life would be like with no money or lifestyle worries.
Ask them if they have ever considered a secondary revenue source.
Ask them what is their biggest goal for their and would they like a
PLAN that works to help them achieve that.
Click on their Curiosity switch in heir mind. Get them CURIOUS about
your message and products.
If you LISTEN to what they have to say - REALLY LISTEN - they will tell
you how to do business with them. They will always tell you HOW, if you
ask the WHAT and WHY.
And they will quit disappearing - as they are now CONNECTED to your
message, products, or business model and will want to know more.
3 months later: had over 30 people in his funnel and recruited
5 people the previous month. And cut his prospects disappearing
by over 50% since the session.
This is how you stop losing prospects during the process of recruiting or
retailing.
KEEP YOUR FOCUS on what the PROSPECT WANTS and help them obtain it with
either your products or business - whether the prospect is online or
offline.
These three things will help you INCREASE, ENLARGE and EXPAND your business.
