Are You Using "Copy and Paste" Messages on LinkedIn? DON'T!!!

Hey
Just a quick training today about LinkedIn.

I have been on LI since the inception and believe it to be a
great social media platform especially for professionals. I have
connections from all over the world on LI and have done business with
quite a few of them globally.

There are as of late many people in Network Marketing using
what I call "amateur copy and paste" messages to prospects on LI.
Some are so scammy and spammy sounding - its ridiculous. They make
the person sending them come across insincere, not serious, and
unprofessional.

And on LI you MUST come across like a professional. Some of the
"copy and paste" messages can work but only if you tweak the message
and make it much more professional than what I have seen. I have several
professional friends on LI who have disconnected to every Network
Marketer that they were connected with because of the 'spam" messages
they were continually receiving.

One friend told me that these types of messages give your profession a
"less than stellar reputation."

These "copy and paste" messages actually can come across very
amateurish and those who use them do not realize that others are
also using the exact same messages as well. And when the potential
prospect sees your message and then sees 5 others like it in their
inbox, they immediately can just put you in the category as "unprofessional"
and you may have have lost them as a potential prospect without even
knowing. These messages have been happening now for a couple of years.

In one day on LinkedIn I received 7 messages after I accepted their
Connection request- with all having almost IDENTICAL messages saying
the same thing. The question is, how many people like me are getting
the same messages when they are accepting Connection requests?

So I have been using a message that is WORKING and I have not seen
one person disconnect with me on LI because of it. I have been using it
for a couple of years. Here I have tweaked it a little for Network Marketers
as I message people a little differently to fit my business model of
Training, Consulting, and Coaching.

You tweak it and MAKE IT YOUR OWN so it sounds like YOU and you feel
good about it.

Here it is:

"If you are like me, you probably have been receiving messages
lately on LinkedIn from marketers that are less than professional. I am
not a fan of those kinds of messages. I just wanted to reach out and say
thank you so much for accepting my Connection request and am excited we
are now in each other's networks. Would love to connect and learn more
about you and what you do. And swap ideas on how we can create more Success
in our careers. I love to network with other professionals. If you are
open maybe we can hop on Zoom for a few minutes next week and talk Success.
Let me know and thank you so much again. Be blessed."

Then you meet them on a zoom and talk about Success and Leadership.

The message displays your interest in THEM FIRST and not just getting
them to buy something immediately. THAT can happen during a Conversation
about what you do for a living.

Do NOT come across on LI, Facebook, IG, Pinterest, or any other social
platform as an amateur. The above message is for ONE reason:

To get the prospect IN CONVERSATION with you and finding Commonalities
with them.
